Mel.
When I first moved into my home with my new husband, Jack, I was STUCK, frustrated and overwhelmed.
I would even cry.
And I was a graphic designer and an art director. I would style photoshoots and TV commercials — I felt like a I should know how to decorate my house. I had so many ideas and I'd paint and buy things I thought I’d love — but nothing came together.
So, trust me, when I say I know how overwhelming and frustrating it feels to want a beautiful, functional home but not know how to make it happen.
That season in my life actually led me to switch careers. I HAD to figure it out. So I went back to school to become an interior designer.
Fast forward, and now I’m a nationally recognized, award-winning interior designer and I'm the owner of Happy Place Interiors. I've worked with over 2,000 homeowners in the past ten years.
I’ve taken everything I learned and created a way to break down the creative process into practical, actionable steps that make interior design fun and easy.
